The voice mail has gone unchecked for exactly three weeks. It appears that his phone is dead. Any messages trying to reach See-More are immediately transferred to his voice mail. To anyone whose hoping to contact him, he's nowhere to be found and leaves no information as to where he is and what he's up to.
((OOC: No, nobody's required to respond to this post. I'm just posting this for the sake of saying "'sup" and all, and maybe perking up some interest. I doubt I'm going to pick up this character again. If I do anything, his story will be continued through fics. If anyone does want to reply, they're welcomed to do so.)) |

Well, ain't giving the details, but I'm in a desperate need to find somewhere to stay sooner than I'd have hoped. Found a place to stick around at, in the meantime, but I think I'm gonna get the boot soon. >_>;

I can't believe I did it. I actually left my friends behind, my team.
I did it in the worst way possible, though. Gizmo... I don't think he's ever gonna talk to me again. He tried to stun me with his cannon. I didn't think he was going to get that upset with me. I thought he'd be mad, yeah, but he yelled at me to get out and er, you had to be there.
Ghost wasn't foaming-at-the-mouth angry, 'cause he had an idea that it was gonna happen, but I felt extremely guilty after talking to him. Not his fault. He's right. Trying to sneak out without saying anything WAS a bad idea.
I didn't see the rest of the team. I'd rather it stay that way for now. Mammoth would probably kick my ass. And.. yeahIdon'tknowifyouknowbutthatFUCKINGhurtsOW.
I really should have done something different, I pulled a bit of a Jinx, I know, but it wasn't like I was going to turn on them and then just randomly play copper on them. I'd never do that to them.
Terra was ...cool about it. She offered me a place to stay for a few days, 'till I can't get a place of my own. Shouldn't be too hard. Just in case, though, Jinx (not Faust, the alt!Jinx I met who's really cool) offered a stay at her place. I owe them both big time for this.
And I know what everyone's thinking. "He's off to go be a Titan!" No, I'm not. I don't even know if that's possible with MY record. Brotherhood of Evil, HIVE Academy, and responsible for knocking over the majority of the bank cars with Wykkyd's help? I'm not counting on that. If I want to.. I'm not ready. It's not the time for it. I don't wanna do the HIVE thing anymore. I had doubts here and there before, but I ignored them. Doubts were supposed normal, y'know? But they didn't go away. And it kept coming to me. I can't lie and say that anything Terra's said didn't help influence my decision, but it did get me thinking. Some time off is good for now.
Besides, uh... maybe spending a little time just 'being normal' first would be a good idea. :\ |

Well, I'm off. I've decided to quit the team. It's just not for me anymore. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this in person. I think it's easier this way, just to get away quietly. Just remember, I'll try and have your backs, no matter where I am.

To be honest, that sounded more like this: "dear hive, i love you but it's... look it's not you, it's me. maybe we can still be friends. love see-more".
He winced a little as he left the note on the coffee table. Swinging his back over his shoulder, See-More took one last look around the room, sucked in a breath, and sighed. He shouldn't feel sad, but he does.
No more Gizmo yelling at his computer attempting to make it work. No more Ghost reading his mind and bringing up some embarrassing thoughts later. No more Mammoth smashing the fridge and eating it. No more getting smacked around by Jinx... er, Faust, whenever he made a smart ass comment that rubbed her the wrong way.
No more HIVE Five.
He's leaving his best friends.
It was the most difficult decision he had to make, though. And See-More didn't want to stick around and be caught. He starts his way to the door, hoping to make a quick get away into the night and disappear from the hideout. Leaving isn't the hardest part, after all. It's whether he's getting away unnoticed or not that's the problem, though.
((OOC: Okay, uh. Yeah. See-More, leaving the HIVE Five. For those playing HIVE Five members, this shouldn't come as a surprise if you've been talking to me OOCly. It's been a thought since March, for both me and See-More. I was going to wait for a plot IC to push him further, but lack of activity on my part kind of came back and bit me in the ass. :\
If any of you want a HIVE Five character to confront him before he leaves, go ahead. He totally deserves it and has it coming. Seriously, a break-up note would piss me off, too. But don't expect See-More to be changing his mind any time soon. :D; A good "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" talk, or a "GTFO" response, would be awesome. See Gizmo's post for reference! Feel free to tag whenever. I hope my responses aren't too slow ^^;)) |

.. right, so.
It shouldn't be bugging me this much. I mean, she's not my girlfriend. It's just... a little thing we're having that nobody else should know about. my team would KILL ME if they knew about it. But anyway, it's nothing serious.
Yet... just that post about her boyfriend, and her ex, and then calling me a 'good friend', and here I am wondering if that's all I really am and... I shouldn't be jealous. I knew what I was getting myself into. but it's bugging me. I mean, I don't wanna say anything, she's got plenty of problems on her own I'll bet.

See-More's got a plan! Yeah, that's right. A plan. A plan that involves delivering a bear and a card to a girl's window. It was easier to drop it off since the boyfriend was a big factor in all of this. There was one fault in his plan, though: the girl lived in a giant T-shaped Tower on an island out of freakin' nowhere.
But nothing was too difficult for him! Getting on his floating-eyeball-of-doom, he made his way over to the Tower, trying to ignore the cold weather that bit at his face and body. When he finally reached her window, he grinned and went over -- and by the time he reached the window, the floating eyeball gave out on him, and he grabbed onto the window edge for dear life.
"Ohdamnohdamnohdamn," he kept swearing to himself over and over again. Luckily he didn't drop any of these things he meant to deliver. But now See-More had a bigger problem than how to subtly leave a gift for a girl. |

See-More got a letter that evening from Terra and walked back to his room. Letters from a friend with benefits a girl he liked? Really, what more could he ask for? Finding himself alone in the hide out, he sat down on the couch and opened up the letter. A grin was on his face as he began reading, but quickly fell into confusion as he read on.

See-More went "shopping" earlier that Christmas day. All of the stores around were busy, so itw as easy for See-More to sneak in, grab what he wanted, and run out. Of course, he bought a few gifts with his own money (such as Terra's gift; she wouldn't accept stolen gifts, he imagined), but that was as far as he would go!

See-More waited outside of the pizza place. He was supposed to be meeting Beast Boy's alternative, Changeling, with a girl named Thirst any minute now. See-More had agreed with him that he would go and steal some CDs sometime, and he needed an upgrade in his music.
He forgot his jacket at home; he figured it was too hot for him to wear, anywho. He looked to his watch, and wondered when they were going to arrive. He hoped it was soon. See-More wanted to get to the store before the late-night coppers decided to scout out the area. |

Okay. I finally caught up with Billy and Jinx ...at the Titans Tower. It's a pretty long story.
And another long story short, we're gonna have to go and rescue Gizmo. I just hope we do all right with all of this, and ...well, I'm just sorry I didn't make it back sooner, y'know? Just can't help it.

Hey, guys, just updating to say thanks for all of the warm welcomes! And much love to alba_aulbath for providing some good See-More icons to replace my two crappy ones I had up yesterday. I really appreciate it!
Oookay, so I was debating on how to get See-More back into the roleplay itself, since I was told he disappeared shortly before the DEO plot or sometime around there. I'm either tied in between personal business he had to attend to (the history I wrote out for him isn't really living up to that idea, though, and it's hard to come up with a good excuse for his absence) or if he was sent off, in a suggestion gave to me about him being sent off someplace. Ooor if he just randomly pops up (which would be awkward D:).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, since I wanted to get everybody's feedback first before I jumped into anything. Again, thanks for all of the nice comments and I hope to get things started with everyone soon! |
